would I have expected 

someone like you 

to mean so much to me.

Just looking at you 

your smile, your eyes, 

hearing your laughter, 

your voice 

It does so much for me.

Truth be told, 

people like you are 

a dime a dozen, and yet 

you managed to become 

Someone special to me.

The gift I never thought 

I would receive 

packaged into someone
